This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (“you” or “user”) and PrayingPeople (“we,” “us,” or “our”) for the PrayingPeople mobile application, web application, and related services (together, the “App”). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. License
Subject to this Agreement, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App for your own non-commercial use, in accordance with our published policies and applicable law.
2. Eligibility and account
You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live. You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it updated.
3. User content and conduct
The App may allow you to post text, images, and other content (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content. By posting, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute User Content solely to operate, improve, and promote the App and enforce our policies.
You agree not to post, share, or transmit any content that is:
- Objectionable, offensive, hateful, discriminatory, or promotes violence against any individual or group
- Harassing, bullying, threatening, intimidating, or abusive toward any person
- Sexually explicit, pornographic, or exploitative in any way, especially involving minors
- Defamatory, libelous, or intentionally misleading
- Spam, unsolicited advertising, or commercial solicitation
- Impersonating another person or entity
- Designed to interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the App’s security or operation
- Otherwise unlawful under any applicable law or regulation
4. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users
PrayingPeople maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy toward objectionable content and abusive behavior. Any content or conduct that violates Section 3 will result in immediate action, which may include:
- Immediate removal of the offending content without prior notice
- Temporary or permanent suspension of the offending user’s account
- Permanent ban from the App and all related services
- Reporting to law enforcement where required or appropriate
We actively monitor content and provide tools for users to report objectionable content or abusive behavior. As the developer of the App, we must act on each report of objectionable content within twenty-four (24) hours by removing the offending content and ejecting the user who provided that content from the App (including suspension or termination of that user’s account, as we deem appropriate). Repeated or severe violations will result in permanent bans with no option for reinstatement.
We reserve the right to determine, in our sole discretion, what constitutes objectionable content or abusive behavior, and to take any action we deem necessary to maintain a safe and respectful community.
5. Third-party services
The App may integrate sign-in or services from third parties (for example Apple or Google). Your use of those services is subject to their terms and privacy policies.
6. Intellectual property
The App, including its design, trademarks, and software, is owned by us or our licensors. Except for the license in Section 1, no rights are granted to you.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THIS AGREEMENT OR THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ZERO IF THE APP IS FREE.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.
9. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate this Agreement or if we discontinue the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination.
10. Changes
We may update this Agreement from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement, except where additional notice is required by law.
11. Governing law
This Agreement is governed by the laws applicable in your jurisdiction of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protections apply.
